The castle quarter sits above the old town. Penha is a separate cable-car or hillside outing.

This route connects landmark locations; museum, church and garden entrances can be gated or ticketed. Stay on public paths and pause outside if an entrance is closed. Check crossings, stairs, surfaces and opening hours for your needs.
