A little field guide to Nantes
Three observation missions for a short outing together. Take a pencil, choose a place to pause, and let children decide what deserves a closer look. Suggested for ages 5–10 with an adult.
For the grown-ups
There is no single right answer.
These are open-ended observation prompts, not a hunt for a fixed exhibit. Ask “What made you notice that?” and save one drawing as a souvenir. Skip any mission that is inaccessible or crowded.
Keep the outing small
A break belongs in the plan.
The Machines are on the island beyond this compact route. Garden gates and attraction hours need checking.
Stay together at crossings and water edges. Toilets, shade, seating and step-free access have not been field-checked; choose a break stop before leaving.
